ABOUT ART INCUBATOR
Art Incubator is a leading not-for-profit philanthropic organisation supporting emerging Australian artists through funding, mentorship and exhibition opportunities. Founded by Teresa and Andre Biet in 2014, the program awards two grants annually to artists developing new bodies of work for solo exhibitions presented in partnership with established commercial galleries.
Each artist receives a $7,500 grant alongside mentorship in professional practice, supporting the development and presentation of their work at a pivotal stage in their careers.
Through a sustainable philanthropic model, Art Incubator acquires artwork from each exhibition, with proceeds from the five-yearly Gala Art Auction reinvested directly into supporting future artists.
Art Incubator is supported by a community of like-minded donors through its Patrons Circle, connecting supporters with some of Australia’s most exciting emerging artists and offering opportunities to engage with their practices at an early stage in their careers. We welcome both financial and in-kind support.
Art Incubator is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission for the purpose of Advancing Culture. All donations are tax deductible and directly support the next generation of Australian artists.
