COVID-19 Art Project 2020

Art Incubator initiated the COVID-19 Art Project in mid 2020 as a response to the climate of financial uncertainty for the arts and artists. In a time of reduced resources and many job losses in the arts sector, the aim of the COVID-19 Art Project was to create an opportunity for collectors and supporters to acquire works at a fixed price of $950 with all proceeds going directly to the artists. The COVID-19 Art Project was an innovative contribution to support the arts and raised over $30 000, all of which went directly to the participating artists.

Participating artists included Alice Couttoupes, David Griggs, Eunjoo Jang, Izabela Pluta, Kate Mitchell, Mason Kimber, Matthew Bromhead, Nadia Odlum, Phil James, Seth Birchall, Stevie Fieldsend, Tim Silver, Victoria Hempstead and William Cooke.

Living with Art Project 2021

Living with Art 2021 was a quick response project aimed at contributing to the survival of artists during the second NSW lockdown. During this time of crisis we were reminded more that ever of the positive role art plays in our homes and in enriching our communities. Building on the success of the COVID-19 Art Project, collectors were given the opportunity to support artists by aquiring their work at a fixed price of $950, with 100% going to the artists. Especially important was the direct dialogue set up between the artists and collectors.

Participating artists: Matt Bromhead, Will Cooke, Alice Couttoupes, Fernando do Campo, Emma Fielden, Stevie Fieldsend, David Griggs, Philjames, Eunjoo Jang, Tom Keukenmeester, Anna May Kirk, Nadia Odlum, Izabela Pluta, Georgia Saxelby and Tim Silver.
